Finishing Siaya Revival
Wow, just finishing up with a one week revival in Siaya Kenya, close to the border of Uganda. Sorry to have taken so long to post. We got into an accident and my computer broke. Im typing from my phone for now. This last revival has been the toughest one Ive ever encountered. The devil was fighting us the whole way but we persisted through it, God has been faithful, and we have completed the task we came to do.
Over the past week we had one driver arrested for speeding, our second car was in a wreck (my car), computer broken that was used for video editing, three amps burn out with little expectation, our repair technician detained multiple times, our money stollen from our 2nd car deal, and a few other challenges. Our equipment was down more than up and expenses ran high. It wasnt until we broke off curses and had overnight prayer that we started to get breakthough in getting things moving forward.
Dan says that over the last 16 years of doing revival he always sees resistance from the enemy but has never seen this level of attack. The devil must really be afraid of us because he sure used a lot of resources to hinder us. Despite these challenges we continue to see souls saved and people supernaturally healed. Thank You Jesus! The team we brought and the local church really worked hard and kept unity even through so much adversity.
I think Dan and I both learnt a lot on this trip and will only make us stronger in future revival meetings.
Tomorrow we start our journey back to Nakuru, an all day travel event. Im looking forward to the rest and regrouping. No Christmas presence here but we are getting two goats and a few chickens to celebrate at Dans moms house.
I will try to get a video clip out. I was in the process of uploading the 1st finished video when we got in the accident that crashed my computer. Im praying the video is still available on the hardrive.
dispite these challenges Im happy to be here and am excited to get back into revival meetings after rest.
Love Jim.
