Pressing Forward
I love that we have been seeing hundreds of people healed and that over 400 have been saved for Jesus. Experiencing these things makes it worth all the effort. But the harsh reality right now is that we have run out of money to continue to properly fund the revival meetings I came here to do. I've been getting enough to eat (skipping some meals) but there are several around me that have been going hungry simply for the sake of continuing to do revival meetings with me. Several pastors and their families and volunteers have continued to sacrifice their time to continue serving with me at their own expenses. But despite the lack of food, no one has been complaining to me. I've learned a lot on this trip about planning. I've also learned that one area the devil will attempt to attack the most is financial resources. The Bible says we are not ignorant of his devices.
Our plans have shifted somewhat. Instead of traveling to other parts of Kenya and into Uganda, we plan to plant ourselves locally in Nakuru Kenya. This will allow me to focus remaining resources in order to do meetings locally from the main Word of Life Kenya church. This will also give us the ability to conduct the largest of our meetings. Nakuru has a lot of people here and we plan to do a continuous four week revival. We are in the process of building a stage, repairing needed equipment, and seeking the many volunteers that will be needed to do this four week revival. Please pray for thousands of souls to receive Jesus, for big miracles and for God's presence to come powerfully.
God bless you, Jim
