Three Street Kids Get Saved

It is heart breaking to walk through Nakuru town and have many street children approach you for food.  We feed some but the need is just too great.  You really come to believe and rely upon prayer, you have to know that when you are stopped and you pray for someone that God is hearing and that it will make a difference in their lives.

Yesterday I was in Nakuru getting ready for our first 2 week revival in Bugoma Kenya. We just had chicken and chips ($5).  I took my left overs out and there were three young boys asking for food at the door.  Unfortunately they were sniffing glue, another big problem among the youth.  It helps to ease the stomach pain but also destroys the brain cells.  I told the young boy I would give him my left overs but first I would pray for him.   God gave me prophetic words for him that he liked to buid things.  I told him about what glue does to his brain and that if he did not stop he would be too stupid to do the work God has called him to do.  All three boys gave there life to God and we gave them each some food.

It's interesting that Kenyans themselves found my approach interesting.  They stopped walking by to see what I was doing and saying to these boys.  I pray that my presence here is making a difference in the culture itself.  Thank You Jesus for giving me these opportunities.

All in the day of an evangelist traveling the streets of Kenya.

Blessings, Jim

And my speech and my preaching was not with enticing words of man's wisdom, but in demonstration of the Spirit and of power: That your faith should not stand in the wisdom of men, but in the power of God. 1 Corinthians 2:4-5
